TEXTILE PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY

Program Details

Textile Processing Technology

The department is one of the oldest and pioneering departments of the institute. We are proud to notify that Textile Processing Technology is unique course of its kind in Ahmedabad. The department embellished with young and experienced faculties. The curriculum has been designed to attain the capacity of each and every student for understanding the concepts and their applications on field. The department plays important role by improving students’ learning ability for lifelong.

The department has well equipped laboratories with the miniatures of padding mangle, Stenter, Flat-bed/Rotary Screen printing machine, HTHP dyeing machine, Pressure ager, Launderomter. The students perform various experiments in psychomotor as well in affective domain to enhance their competency in practical field. The department habitually organizes industrial visits and expert lectures which provide a platform to the students to enhance their employability skills. The students are trained in industries as the part of curriculum for enhancing their applicability to solve the real life problems with the help of innovative thinking.

Apart from the technical sides, department also encourage students for participating in various Co-Curricular activities at the department/Institute/University level for their integrative development. All these efforts have led to building up of mutual respect and harmonious relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
