Applied Mechanics
The
Applied Mechanics Department is mainly dealing with the courses of
Structural Engineering and Geo-technical Engineering for Diploma in Civil
Engineering. The specific courses are Mechanics of Structures, Soil
Engineering, Concrete Technology, Design of Steel and R. C. C.
Structures etc. The department is also handling inter discipline courses
like Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials for Diploma in Civil,
Mechanical, Plastic, Automobile Engineering etc.
The
department is fully equipped with Engineering Mechanics lab, Strength
of Materials lab, Concrete Technology lab and Soil Engineering lab.
For
quality performance in Strength of Material lab, the department is
having computerized digital Universal Testing Machine and Compression
Testing machine.
The department is enriched with faculties having their Master of Engineering degree in Structure and Geo-technical Engineering.
Internal revenue generation by department for the year 2018-19 is Rs. 41935/-and for the year 2019-20 is Rs. 14220/- respectively.
